Clarification: Law 16, The Goal Kick

Things to keep in mind
Where is the goal kick taken from?
The ball is kicked by a defending team member while it is STATIONARY and in the GOAL AREA (6 yard "box").
When is the ball in play?
The ball is in play when it is KICKED and CLEARLY MOVES.
The ball does not have to leave the penalty area to be in play.
Can a goal be scored?
A goal CAN BE scored AGAINST OPPONENT.
What if the team taking the goal kick has the ball enter their goal directly?
A CORNER KICK is taken as a team may not score against itself from a restart.
Can a player touch the ball after a goal kick is taken?
The SAME player may not touch the ball after taking the goal kick.
Restart with an INDIRECT FREE KICK,
Unless a player ,that is not the goalkeeper, touches the ball with their hands
PENALTY KICK if the offense occurs in the penalty area
DIRECT FREE KICK if the offense occurs outside the penalty area.
Where must opponents be when the goal kick is taken?
Opponents must be OUTSIDE the penalty area until the ball is played.
The goal kick may be taken if the attacking team players are leaving the penalty area and they do not interfere with the taking of the goal kick.
If the OPPONENT INTERFERES before the ball is put in play for the goal kick, the goal kick is RETAKEN.
Can an opponent enter the penalty area before the ball is put in play from a goal kick?
An opponent cannot enter the penalty area before the ball is put in play from a goal kick, the goal kick is retaken.
Can the team taking the goal kick use "trickery" to lift the ball by the foot to the head of a team mate to play the ball to the goalkeeper to play with their hands in the penalty area?
"Trickery" is the keyword, retake the goal kick after a verbal reminder to the defending team.
